What is the stock gearing on an 05, is it the same hyvo gears as the srx/viper, are they interchangeable, and has anyone tried going up a tooth on the bottom? Thanks guys.

05 is the same as the rest of the late model Yammies. Hyvo chain. Top gears will swap, bottoms will not (not sure, didnt own a Viper)
Warriors were 23T top, 121 sleds are 24T. Any gearing will work, but you will need to clutch around it to get the results. Going down a tooth on a stock 121 sled will hurt it.
The stock clutching doesnt lug the motor no where enough as is, much less gearing it down.

I was wondering about going up a tooth on the bottom. Rx Dave you're not sure how many teeth the bottom gear is on an 05 are you? I would not want to touch the top gear just the bottom. I went up a tooth on the bottom in my 02 srx to find it worked really strong to 1500' or so(great for trails) but I lost a bit on the top. I don't think this will be the case on the RX1 but I may be wrong that's why I wonder if anyone has tried it.
