If you where going to but a nytro would be a 2011 2012 or 2013 I am going to by new sled and found a dealer that has all three there is 300 diff between the 11 and 12 and about 700 between the 12 and 13 and about 1200 between the 11 and 13 save a few buck and go with the 11 or spend the money on the 13

I would go 13 because you get the 1.75 track extroverts, extra cooler and tuner skis .. would cost much more then 1200 to buy all that which you probly gonna buy bigger track and stuff anyway

Not necessarily, they still make the 1.25 version... What model are you looking at? XTX, RTX, Standard?

Buy the '11. No nned for 1.75" track, put the money into a TrailTank and SplitRail Skis. Plus the '11 has clicker reservoirs on all shocks, the '13 doesn't.

I am looking at the xtx the 12 has a 1.75 trake are the front shock on the 13 that bad or do I won't the 11 or 12 because of the front shock

11

Hard to answer that question without including pricing for each.

I can't see why anyone would go with an 11 or 12, unless the price was substantially better than the 13. the 13 got the new skis, new dual controls for grips and thumb, and possibly a few other differences depending on model. So the 2011 or 2012 would have to be $500 or so less, as it would take about that to add the tuner skis and carbides. Now if they discount accordingly, save some $ and go for it. They can only discount so much though, what amount of money off is enough for you to consider non current MY?

they say theres been some added bracing, material changes, geometry changes, etc in the 2013 yamaha video. what type of riding will you be doing?

There is 300 diff between the 11 and 12 about 800 diff between 12 and 13 and about 1200 diff between the 11 and 13 the 12 has a 1.75 track on it not sure if I will like that are the hand controls that much diff between the 12 and 13 and I do a lot of on trail riding did help going to pull plug this week I know if the 12 didn't have that 1.75 track on it I would go that way but I think I can save a little more on the 11

It seems as if almost everyone upgrades the skis on nytros. Factor in that cost and its easier to justify the 13. Just sayin'

When I bought mine this fall I changed shocks to the float 2 evol and the gave me the stock shocks which I sold for $350 .... Total cost of upgrade $300

Always an option out there

Never saw if it was an FX, RTX, or XTX. The shocks are defintely something to take into consideration.
