- 2008 Yamaha Nytro
Hello everyone,
I have recently purchased my first yamaha! it is a 2008 Fx Nytro. It was stock when I bought it but I have purchased a set of C&A XTX skis for it to solve the pushing through corner issues that this sled has. Anyway I still have to get the mounting kit and mount them up. I have looked at the how to shim your skis sticky on these forums but I am unsure of how to mount them on the sled. In the how to section it shows putting the 1/4" shim on the small side of the rubber which is then mounted towards the front of the sled? (so the tall portion of the rubber is towards the back and and smaller portion with the 1/4" shim is at the front) does this make sense or do I have something backwards here? Do I even need to shim these skis up at all?
thanks for all your help!
