Has anyone tried one of these yet, sounds interesting?? $1789.00 Cdn.
The impeller is fixed on the secondary clutch. It starts to turn only when the snowmobile begins its movement, so it has no effect on start or take off. As the snowmobile rises in speed the impeller creates a positive pressure in the engines intake. The snowmobiles intake map sensor reads the added pressure and gives the ECU the signal to add the correct amount of fuel, resulting in more HP.
The impeller produces approximately 2 psi boost when the snowmobile reaches its top speed, resulting a 13% gain on atmospheric pressure. It takes 4 HP to drive the impeller so final HP gains are of 10% or 14 HP.

It's been discussed before...the thread turned into a poop show...IMO...I would rather spend the money on the mods in my sig ( which is about the same $ )..I know I've got 14,6hp more and it doesn't just work from 80mph on ( which is where this mod comes into effect )....it's there all of the time.
