Can anyone help me clutch and gear 2010 nytro mtx with a 180 mcx kit
Live at 1000 ft but make couple trips to golden per year 6000+ clutching as well thanks for your help[/list]

No need to change gearing.
For clutching, you will need to add weights to the tips, weight depends on the brand of tips that you purchase. Also, I would suggest changing the primary spring and the helix..
There are many clutch kits out there to choose from, preference is yours...

8BU weights from Yamaha and 17.3 Rivets are what we have been using.

I can access yamaha parts for cost
Well i guess buy one of everything and have at it... Being cheap isnt really part of the turbo game. Parts are cheap and research is priceless.... :o|

we have been putting in an epi purple spring in the seconday at 10 degrees w/ the shockwave helix

What kind of 180 kit do you have? I just got the MCX180 kit installed, with MCX's own clutchkit for this setup..

Also, you should add your location to your profile - i believe it is a site requirement.

the kit is mcx spring bl/w /bl 8bu weights loaded secondary pink with 45 degree helix running pretty good no long pulls yet to check clutch heat.
