I was thinking about upgrading the rear skid in my nytro and have kind of been looking at the k-mod and the timbersled skids. They look very similar and are about the same price (once you add the floats to the k-mod). I am leaning towards the timbersled because it loses alot more weight but am kind of concerned it wont be a durable as the k-mod. Any input, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Todd

I put a K-mod on mine. If you use the K-mod drop brackets the weight between the two skids is almost the same. Put 100 miles on this weekend and I think I am going to really like the K-mod.
I will say that I have talked two both on the phone before and they are both very nice to talk to...

I went with the timbersled. Haven't had it out west yet, 11 more days. I've got about 200 hundred miles on it flatland banging ditches, trails, etc and it has responded fantastically! The ride & hookup is great. You wouldn't be disappointed.

Switch, how is the Timbersled holding up? I've been looking at it too but wasn't sure if it would hold up to the ditch banging and field running when I'm not out west in the hills. I've heard it works good out west but wasnt strong enough in the flatlands?????
