i converted my 09 mtx nytro to a xtx and trying to figure out why my speedo if off im reading about 30 kms low on the top end. so i did some checking and found the drive gear and speedo sensor are the same for each. the only difference is in the gauge which has 2 different part numbers. is there any way that programming can fix this? i went from a 162x 2.25 track to a 144 x 1.75

The ECUs are also different and speed sensor info goes there then gets sent to the speedo. I'm guessing you changed drivers, no?
There are electronic devices available with an adjustable output pulse usually used to calibrate speedometers on vehicles with different tire diameters. If you set your speedometer to metric it might read miles pretty close.
You most likely put in bigger drivers which will bring your speedometer down. The track does not matter its the size of the driver.
