8 psi on pump fuel with mine took a piston just to much boost and not enough octane. Would not push em past 7 psi on pump gas at sea level without lower compression.

Mandatory upgrades are the fuel regulator and fuel pump kit at sea leavel don't let anyone tell you different.

Pulleys that are available in my case I cannot get boost below 8 psi so take it for what its worth I have 29/26 on mine with the hub turned down on the 26 to clear the frame boss and the frame also clearanced where the oil tank mounts to clear the belts.

I am putting 3 pistons in mine as we speak not to bad to get the motor out, HG went on mine first which then we beleive took the piston out with excessive steam from coolant hitting the piston for the last 100km I rode it home LOL. Not much work to fix really and pistons are cheap. Block looks like brand new and the head is fine. Fun fun fun.

Edit, I have been able to get around 80+ miles to a tank of fuel trail riding as well

24/38 gearing in mine

Dalton 66g weights with 2 heavy rivets in both
Dalton Orange spring

54/42 Helix from dalon with Yamaha White spring on 3-3

Sea Level 8800 RPM @ 8 psi.

I posted an update with additional information in the thread I linked earlier.

Jamie, I am sorry to hear about your motor. I hope you are putting in LC pistons so this won't happen again. Oh and since it is going so smoothly, when will you be here to do mine :-)

When you say Pump Gas. What Octane Fuel can you buy at the pump? What Octane where you running when it went down? At what elevation where you running at?

About 800' elevation with just super 91 in it. Around here central to northern ontario a sled has to be able to run on any piss you put in the tank. 8 psi is just to much for pump gas for long pulls which is basically what we were doing. I know why it went completely my fault but on same token we need to know what it canand can't take.

I would say 6 maybe 7 psi on what you get at the pumps and your still pushing it with stage 1

Next problem is getting the boost down. MPI NEEDS other pulley sizes for sea level guys.

Spray Im still 50/50 on putting the sled back to stock and selling it. I have been riding my rev xp 800 and having an all out ball, its just more fun. I am either going to double head gasket it and keep running 8 psi or go to stock and sell the SC and the sled and just go back to my doo. Decisions decisions haha.

Leaving on a 2200 km loop thursday on the doo we'll see if it makes it.

We still have an o8 apex 40th I have been kicking around doing an MCX 310 kit for playing.

If you sell the Kit put me on the top of the list for it.

I am asking because I just don't know, but I understand the doubling of the head gaskets? is that to lower your compression?
I have a dodge Diesel with Twin turbo's running as high as 80 psi, right now waste gated at 63psi and we wouldn't/couldn't use two gaskets. It would blow through. I use 12mm ARP studs torqued to 122 ft lbs.. Have you thought of doing that and o'ring the head? I feel that would fix any problem you could have.
Just my .02, please keep in mined, I know nothing about this with a gas motor.

We were going to fire ring my block but the cylinder spacing won't allow this. They are to close togeather.
