will a back country 1-3/4 track fit on a short track 13 nytro with stock drivers im stretching it to 136 with rail extensions just wanna make sure i can fit tht track and not have clearance promblems or will i need to buy new drivers ?? Thanks in advance

Drivers wont be an issue for you. The tunnel and cooler protectors will probably interfere though. If you don't plan on studding your track, you should have no issues if you remove them. The tunnel protectors are very simple to remove, but you will need to cut the welds holding the cooler protectors in place. This is risky because you don't want to cut a hole in your cooler.

I agree with DeepFrz - Shouldn't have any issues with the tunnel and front cooler protectors removed. I run the same track on my XTX with extrovert drivers.
The extrovert drivers are nice so you can run the track loose without ratcheting.
This is all assuming you aren't running studs.

Perfect thats wht i figured my tunnel protectors are already out and i planned on cooler protectors but just wanted to verify and i wouldnt stud it so should be good thank u guys

Also wanted to mention, my buddy is running a 121 1.75 Snocross track on his 2010 RTX SE (Extrovert Drivers) and he has no clearance issues after pulling the protectors.
I kept my cooler protectors on when I was running a 2" challenger track that was notched and I noticed ice chunks and smaller rocks would get wedged in between the protectors and lugs. This did quite a bit of damage to my lugs and also required me to throw the sled in reverse several times while riding to remove the debris. I learned my lesson and cut them out when I swapped in my Talon 1.77

I love the track! I actually just bought a new one from CB Performance to replace my old one!
During my preseason maintenance I found a big split in the outside bar and wasn't willing to risk it. I've had great luck with the track on trail and off trail as a good middle of the road option. I've got around 5-6,000 miles on my track with a lot of those being hard trail miles, and other than that split I'd keep rocking it. There are some splits but no large missing chunks like I see on a lot of other taller lug tracks used for aggressive riding.
Here's my thoughts specific to each riding style:
On trail
- Definitely more lug that you "need" but has great hook up
- You get some rear slide out on icy corners, but I believe that will happen no matter what unless you have studs
- If running hard pack/low snow conditions it's a good idea to run scratchers to keep your slides cool
- I have Excell wheels,Dupont slides, and I try to dip into the snow here and there when trail riding
- I'm very happy with my slider wear or lack there of per say considering I don't run my scratchers overly often
- The lugs are beefy so they seem to hold up well
Off trail
- 1.75" lug track works way better than the standard ripsaw and cobra tracks that are close to that 1.25" lug height
- I think challenger style track would be better, but I'm not willing to trade the lug design for a true mountain track with the amount of trail riding I do

Yea i did i got a 137 back country 1-3/4 2.86 track off a sidewinder from a guy locsl with only 400 miles on it for $300 i though tht was a pretty good dealCrusen32 just make sure you order a track that is 2.86 pitch

No issues running 90+ mph here on my XTX with a 1.75 BC.
Mine had the larger lug track on it when I bought it and stock XTX gearing. Guessing the previous owner made some clutching adjustments to make up for the larger track to get the rpm where it needs to be.
I just swapped out to a 20 tooth upper gear. Got 100 miles on today and it seems to be snappier down low, but with the temps near -10 Fahrenheit before a wind chill we didn't do any top end lake runs!

Yeah, you'll have to check it out. I wouldn't be surprised if you lose a few mph top end, but it shouldn't be that much especially considering you've got an intake/exhaust/tune.

I messaged the man himself ulmer racing so ik ill be taken care of and get this figured outYeah, you'll have to check it out. I wouldn't be surprised if you lose a few mph top end, but it shouldn't be that much especially considering you've got an intake/exhaust/tune.
