i have a 09 xtx with a 3" block riser and the parking brake cable is already pretty tight and i had to re-rout the throttle cable. would i need to extend this if i were to install the oft relocator kit?

Has anyone noticed less (or more) steering effort due to the angle of the bars and way your arms and shoulders turn after the kit is put in.

I am running agressive ski's and would like to give my arms a break.

That is one of the main advantages of having the steering relocator as it puts the bars sweep at a much flatter angle that is much easier to push/pull on. So yes the steering effort is easier with the kit installed. I have C&A Razors on my sled and definitely noticed how much easier/less awkward it was to turn after having the kit installed. I personally believe this is the #1 mod to do to the current sled as it makes everything about the steering feel more natural.

I ordered my kit a couple days ago, that was the mod to do this season on my sled

It is a very good mod and the quality of the parts is amazing. Like was said, the sled should have come this way from the factory. The handlebar position feels a lot more natural and allows you to corner more aggressively since you are not fighting the position of the bars so much. You also end up being a little more forward which really helps in the bumps since you are in more control and your body is in more of an attack position.

I've had no issues with my kit and it has held up to XC racing and many practice and fun miles.
