ohlins ec shock question

i got a blown ohlins ec shock, is there anyway someone like pioneer could straight rebuild it to run like a normal shock or should i just get my er shock revalved?

I would re-valve it. The shock will already be apart. If the re-valving didn't make such a huge difference in the ride i wouldn't worry about it. But it does. It would be silly not to imo.

There is also an updated head you can have them use at the same time...That is another 60 bucks though.
