My last oil change was performed by the dealer. Can not loosen the crank case bolt, torked in way to tight :o| . Just doing a sanity check, the bolt is a #6 hex, correct? Any ideas how to loosen with out stripping would be appreciated..
Thanks

Take it back to your dealer and ask him if he thinks it is a mack truck!Or if his mechanic has a torque wrench.

Try an extension on the allen key for leverage and make sure your're going the right way.

Last resort channel locks on outer edge of bolt or kick dealer and mechanic in the NUTS!!!!!!!!!!

Another reason why I do my own work you know the old saying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Old saying is?
If dealer tightens you nuts too tight you kick him in da nuts! LOL
Seriouly now make sure your allen wrench is inserted all the way and tap it in with a mallet to make sure. Then put a pipe that just fits over it to act as a snipe then pull the correct way slowly increasing force until the nut comes loose. Install with some anti sieze compound just to make sure oxidation is not the cause. Make sure to tell your dealer they are over doing it. Always pull on a wrench instead of pushing the reason is to save yourself some good cuts on the hands. It is also the reason mechanics call it pulling wrenches.
