i have an 06 apex mcx kit with head shim i run c-16 motor has 50 miles
compression is 130 130 130 140

at 8000 rpm it starts spitting oil. it spitts tell the oil light comes on then stops. i also stopped the motor let it sit fire it back up and oil light is off. but it comes back on in a few min.. from what i have read the rings would be bad that is not the case here. i also tried to oil the rings down i have not taken it out to see if that worked

could the oil sensor be bad?
should i run with the oil light on that seems low to me.

any help would be great thanks

Oil coming out breather is never good. I'd say you better do a leakdown. Looks as though you may have 3 bad slugs. There should be no oil coming from breather at anytime with a healthy engine.

I second that!

vapor only, maybe oil vapor, but no oil.

Leakdown is the only way to really tell sounds like detonation and its blowing by the rings. Hopfully its just the rings and you haven't ovaled the cylinders. Sorry

whats your ring end gap. did you check them? if they are to big then you will pressurize the bottom and blow oil out of the breather and your compression will read ok.

take leak down on all piston positions with closed valves, this will probably tell you if cylinders have damages.

about same leak down across the stroke probably indocate no cylinder damage while big variation across will indicate ovalisation/chiped/tapered

found the problem the guy that installed the motor had the oil return line switched with the vacume hose right next to the return.
