Oil tank casting leak !!

When I was up in Maine the other week the front of the tank was always a little wet. Figured it was oil or lube from assembly, took the muffler off to change oil and adjust chain. Cleaned everything up with brake clean and found this. Goes back to the dealer on Friday for a new tank! Gotta love AC QC!

Holy crap Mike!!! Wow that is so unfortunate..afraid to look at mine now lol.. when I get back up there gonna bring it in for the 500 mike service..and have it gone through. But I’m gonna inspect for that problem before hand.

Was great meeting you and riding like we did... lots of fun, hope to do it again.

Thanks JD. Just looks like a bad casting to me. I'm planning on hitting Tugg Hill on the 19th for the weekend. Dealer said I'll have it back by Thursday the 18th. We'll see. If not ""Old Reliable"" will be in the trailer. I'll be back up in Maine on February 10th/16th. Myself and 3 other guys are staying at Dean's. Give me a call or text if you're up that week.
