Paddle Tracks

I have an RTX coming, well, it's here but it's still in the crate. Anyways, I want to put a paddle track on it.

I've been working my way up in track size since 97, from a 1.5" on a 97 piped 700SX, 1.25" on a 01 Viper, to an 1.75" 05 Renagade 600 SDI.

Well, I want to go big on my RTX probably 2" or 2.25". Why so big? Well, I go out west each year and I love the manuverabilty of the short tracks and massive wheelies in powder. Plus I live in northern MN and on a regular snow year like last year we get enough snow so you don't have to worry about trail riding with paddles. And when you have a paddle it's hard to go back, or smaller.

Now with that in mind, what do you think I should go with? I know that with the 2" I will have to drop a driver tooth size, but will that cover the 2.25 as well? As well do think the anti-ratchet drivers would be beneficial for this application. I'm also looking to put a supercharger on it for next year and I wonder if I'll have a problem keeping the paddles on it.

Anyways thanks for any advice you guys have. Just dreaming of lots of snow here :)

You'll have to rip out the tunnel protectors as well, that'll give you the needed extra inch of clearance over the wheels from the 1.25 to a 2.25. You might have a hard time getting that to hold up even without a supercharger on anything hard. You will DEFINITELY be loosing traction (paddles will fold down and dump their snow). You would definitely be better off going with a longer track with shorter lugs.
