After nearly 6000 miles the A arms on my Apex were rock chipped and scratched. Since they were already off being straightened, this was the ideal time to paint. With no other manufactor making a Yamaha deep red metalic, I choose ColorRite ( Color- Rite .com). The up side is the color was a dead on match. Also, the base, color, and clear paints were of the highest quality I have ever used...The downsize is....hope you are sitting....$95 shipped to my door. Color Rite claims their base coat, and clear coat are mandatory. The color coat can itself was $33.95...kinda high for a rattle can. I used 3/4 of the can just doing my lower A arms. I won't know about durabilty till next season.....Worth it???...If your arms are really marked up, they will look a $100 better...tm

Hope they hold up for you. I think I would have opted for powder coat for high durability even if not an exact match. I plan to do mine this summer when replacing the bushings, but mine are silver.

Wish you would have gotton a hold of me first..

We could have powder coated them for about the same price..
