I know Yamaha puts claimed "dry weights" on the websites and advertising brochures, but if Yamaha did the same as they did for the Apex lineup, the "dry weight" specs they printed in the owner's manuals are around 18 lbs heavier than all their website and advertising docs state. This was discussed on the Apex side at one time but I don't think anyone ever presented a firm answer on a reason for the discrepancy. Plus I see an earlier thread here about how CA and US Yamaha websites posted different numbers for the Phazer. So I'm curious if we have multiple random numbers all over Yamaha's various publications on the Phazers also...what do your actual owner's manuals say for the dry weight of the different Phazer models?
Thanks!
Thanks!

The manual says 487lbs.

Thanks. Is that 487 for which Phazer model? My Attak manual covers about 6 different models and thus offers the same number of different weights...I know some of these Phazers have reverse but I don't think they all do, and the mountain has to be heavier. So I'd think there'd be at least 3 different weights listed unless each sub-model gets a one-off owner's manual.

Thank you kind sir...
487 matches their website advertising...very interesting. Now I wonder why my Attak is listed at 575 on the website, and 593 in my owner's manual?
Oh well...just one of the great mysteries of life I guess...
BTW, I think your Avitar is really cool...
