Ice boogers chew away at the track, one ski wheelies do as well. Another reason to close the tunnel.

my track is totally screwed. it is showing the wholly's, its missing half of its lugs, and where the sliders run it is wearing into the track. i dont think the track life is very good on these sleds.

Perhaps. A lot of your problem could be the track is too tight. Missing lugs could be rider abuse.bush wacker said:my track is totally screwed. it is showing the wholly's, its missing half of its lugs, and where the sliders run it is wearing into the track. i dont think the track life is very good on these sleds.
Camoplast makes the tracks, not Yamaha.

i never miss use my track. i always stay on snow and when i am crossing roads i never try to spin the track. i do got 8000 km on it so i think from all the times it was rubbing against the ice that is what caused the lugs to rip off. also the track i got is as loose as the specs say to put it on.
