I've lost all confidence in the stock skis that came with my 06 attak.
I'm thinking of going to the ski-doo pilot 6.9 pilots as I do about 40% off trail. The wider ski will help me get on top of the snow in the deep, and as I understand they will get rid of most all of my darting. My problem is the rubber blocks. Do I have to modify them to fit my spindle cradle? Just looking at them they look way to wide.
They must have to be cut down in some way. What do you use to cut them? Can I use the stock bolts and do I have to shim the spindle any? I know I have a lot of questions but I need to get this right as I have money enough for just one try at fixing the sleds ski problems in the deep snow. I don't want to use the yamaha mountian skis as I don't want to have to fix the darting too. Thanks in advance all. vmaxcrazy
