plug reading at wot

How do most off you check plug reading at wot?Do you keep the throttle lever pin down and hit the engine stop switch at the same time even if it is in high boost .I find it very hard reading plugs on race fuel .thanks

Yes hard with race fuel for sure. I like to look at piston tops. Or wideband O2 ROCKS!!
