OK, I know we're all Yamaha guys, but, my son has a Predator 90 and the brakes on this thing suck. Every time he goes through mud/water the brakes are gone until I pull the wheels and clean them out. Does any body have some suggestions. I know I'm gonna hear "yea buy a Yami". I already have a 05 Grizz and an 05 Kodiak. I just didn't like the solid front axle and ground clearance on the little Yami. I wish there was a disc brake kit for this thing.

you could try a hole in the backing plate for the brakes or removing some of it so the mud/dirt can get spun out of the drum easyer. makes it easyer to flush it out with the hose or pressure washer when you get home.
