Primary clutch rattle

I know this is an old subject that keeps coming up, but in plain and simple english what do I have to do to fix the primary clutch rattle for good so it does not rattle at all? besides throwing it in the scrap pile!!

and take it to the dealer is out of the question!

There are little shims but they last 400 kms and it starts to rattle again. Dont worry about it, you are going to have to get used to it. It is the harmonics of the 3 cylinder engine. Just check your primary spring every once in a while to make sure it is not broke. You should hear it rattle if it is broke.

You gotta learn to deal with it. Ya..it suks but it,s not an issue. I ran a 300 hp turbo that sounded like the primary was gonna come out the side of the belly pan & 3 years later & 4k miles it,s still working fine.
