Prologger tach signal on Apex

You need to get a distributorless ignition tach adapter that splices into, or pickup clips onto, one of the ignition coil lead wires in the harness and converts the signal to a square wave output so the ProLogger or any data aq can use it.
I have used an MSD 8913 or a 8918.

prologger

I used purple wire from prologger to white wire with black tracer that goes to cam position sensor on top of cylinder head. Works great.

I thought was only for the nytro's

According to Mountain Performance the Apex does not need the adapter. It has a cam sensor

I guess that makes sense. My first ProLogger installs were on Nytros, so then afterwards did the same thing on an Apex just assuming.

prologger

I tried to combine wires into rb3 map sensor and it does not work. Not enough voltage to make rb3 and prologger work properly. I run seperate map sensors and both units work fine.

On my Apex cam sensor harness there is an all white wire, black with blue tracer, and a blue with white tracer.
Should I be using the all white wire then?

Thanks

It's white on one side and white with black on the other side of the plug. Set the cylinder select to 1. Yes that's the one.
