Make sure you drain or run the gas completely out of the float bowls so you won't have plugged jets come this fall. I wouldn’t trust gas stabilizer to protect you from having to take the float bowls off and blow out the jets.

Fuel stabilizer will be fine, run some seafoam in the gas and you will be ready to go. For those of you who drain everything out, you are just wasting your time. Why does everyone get so nervous about gas varnish and jet plugging? You're over-reacting!
hmmm. last year i left gas in my carbs with stabile and sea foam and guess what happened? plugged pilots!!!! in the last 20 years working on snowmobiles I probably cleaned 4 to 500 carbs that had plugged jets and pilots!!! i tell everyone to drain them or at least run them for ten minutes or so every couple of weeks! i guess i should of heeded my own advice!!
the gas now a days probably has a shelf life of a month!!!

I've had my share of problems with fuel. I run stabile thru the system, drain the carbs and the fuel tank. With the air box off, I plug the carbs with towells and the exhaust with towels. 1 year I had a mouse get in the exhaust and build a nest

another good trick is to go to the $ store and buy some panty hose (not an unususal thing for some of you) and some moth balls. Drop in 10 or 15 moth balls in the hose and hang about 6 of these around your sled, it will keep bugs and varmits away. Another useful tip is to have a small bowl of moth balls placed in front of an osilating fan on low, use at outside picnics or on patio, will keep the bees and misquitos away.

Some have just dumped fuel stabilizer in and shook the sled and said this will do the trick. Well it doesn't. Put in the stabilizer, fill it with gas, start and run the machine to ensure the stabil makes it through the carbs and next season run some seafoam in the gas after the first tank has been used up. I don't know why you are having problems, maybe I'm just lucky.
