Just wonder if anyone has run the px-301 ski's on rx1.
I was leaning to the C&A's for best over all performance but ran across these on e-bay. Any input would be greatful. :rocks:

Dont know, But if that is the USI ski it should be fine. They are also showing "blow out pricing" on their web site.

USI 301s

Picked up a set at the Syracuse snow show after a long converstiosn with them. They convinced me they would work very well on the RX1, the extra width and taper makes them handle the weight well. They are agressive, but not like the new C&A Pro, which they felt would be a little too much with all the weight on the skiis, for trails anyway. Had Simmons last year on a Viper/M10, they work well but are not very precise in many conditions, but certainly a nice ski. As far as carbides, it seems most of the aftermarket companies make them for USI, almost no one for simmons, most for C&A, my experience at least. Asked the Saber rep last year why they did not make carbides for Simmons, he told me they were a great ski but only popular out west. I guess he doesn't read this site.

I'm running the SLP PowderPro on my Warrior. Quite a bit wider than stock, with a narrow central keel for running on hardpack, and wings for loose stuff.

As for aftermarket carbides, I'm running Bergstrom 8".

What I've noticed is better flotation in the loose, and a lot less push in loose or hardpack than I was getting before. The wings / narrow & deep keel seem to help a lot with the push in loose snow.

Negatives are heavier steering and the skis are significantly wider, so a gate on local trails were I could get through without touching before now has the skis squeezing through. I also get some overlap on the center line on my trailer, fortunately the other sled I was trailering is relatively narrow.
