lower ball joint.
anyone know what the internals are supposed to include.
I was giving my sled the once over on Friday and noticed a little extra play in the right side lower ball joint. They have a little slop when new......but right side was probably 3X movement of the left side.
Also saw what looked like a piece of black plastic sticking out a bit on the bottom side of the ball joint......anyway, didn't really look to close as this might have put a damper on my riding plans...LOL, can't fix what you don't see eh....!
300 km later and plastic piece is gone and I have 1/4" movement up and down on the spindle/ball joint..
so...before I start swinging the hammer and removing the ball and race.......anyone know whats happening here.....??

I'm not 100% sure, it was a piece of plastic or seemed like non metalic material sticking out between the ball and the socket.
below is a picture with the snap ring removed......not sure if this will be covered under warranty. Mine is now metal on metal and has 1/4" play. I'm not sure how this is removed, will get a spare before I do anything else.

its black witha metal mesh . Had mine fall out . these ball joints suck just finished replaceing mine . I think i got the last ones because there back ordered till feburary 6 . Hopefully there redisgning them

take a 3/4 socket and a wheel puller and press it out .. you can heat the a arm to help.
