The last ride I noticed the my skis were very wobbly so I took the ski off and was going to do the shim trick to stop the pushing and noticed the rubber damper was wore out down to the plastic ski. Its like the damper was almost it 2 pieces. I know that's not right. Now my question on the spindle is from that bolt being lose I think it rounded out the spindle hole for the bolt that holds the skis on. Is that hole suppose to be that big in diameter or is the bolt suppose to fit threw the spindle with no play in it? Has any one herd of this problem before? I even thought about putting spacers on the bolt to get the wobbliness out of the skis. Your help would be appreciated thanks

once they start to oval the hole in the ski its game over... either repair/replace. this bolt is supposed to have no play. and yes it can be common, used to be bad on my old polaris's with aluminum ski bracket, but yammies have the 2 metal incerts for the bolt thru the plastic.

maybe time for some better skis!...

I think I found the problem when they assembled the snowmobile they didnt put a collar in the spindle I was looking on a parts list and there is a collar that goes in the spindle I have 2800 miles on the sled..
