For a 07 Apex GT
In the 07 Supplementary Service Manual the rear suspension spring preload range = 10.59" to 11.29"/ My dealer called Yamaha Tech and he stated 10.43 to 11.3/ The sticky in this forum said 10.3 to 11.3.
This may seem small but this is a difference of 30% or .3" difference. Just recieved a 07 Apex GT and am trying to set the correct preload. It appears to be no difference in springs between years. Any ideas on what is the correct minimum measurement ?
Thanks

Gt there is a "sticky Post" at the top to the list that describes this nicely. For some reason with the mono they want more precise shock compression measurement and not ride hieght. Not hard to do, I just made a piece the right length and adjusted spring load until it fit with a little wiggle room.
