Radar Runs Sunday..what to expect??

I have been asked to bring the rx1 to the runs on Sunday from a friend.
(Well thats if I get it tunned this week)

The track is 1000' and he said that 120-123mph will take it on sunday.

25 top tooth, 136x1-1/4 w/studs, bender II turbo

I was seeing 85-90 in under 500' with having to ease into the throttle because of my wot problem. 12lbs of boost and 120 octane fuel. Anyway, if I get it fixed, what can I expect at this run?

You run that fast in 1,000ft with out nos or being boosted? was it radar speed you talk about,if so what have you done!!
 
I was seeing my numbers on gps.

Last year I was seeing 128mph on the dreameter trail riding.

The turbo turns this sled into a complete monster over stock.
 
ecp/ carb springs/jets/evac/clutch springs and helix/lock washers/extroverts/ 06 skid 144 very very sharp needles.
I just run my track loose suck the suspension down as far as it will go,loosen all adjustments on skid, remember the 03 had the nipple track which is lighter/also cut out all the holes and added clips, this thing was broke in WFO I can outrun my brothers apex so bad it really pi$$es him off. needle bearings in all the wheels,no wear bars, have a blade like an ice skate under skis. This thing rocks for a stock motored sled, I just got a good one

I guess so,i had the same sled in 03 but it was mostly stock suspension set up,but had hh weights the same freddie goodies yours has and best on ice 117 on the gun in 3000 ft.

With some ice pics you should be around 127-132mph in 1000ft on ice set up right.
 
I am studded, but not ice pics. This is on the ice and was told it gets rutted up pretty bad in the afternoon.

I was told its just radar runs, the first ones there get the better runs.

Okay, this was the gps today. The length from start to stop was right at 1000'. I was reaching 86 mph in what I would have guest 800' worth.

I think if I hook up I should see 120+mph. And that is what I am shooting for.
 
i hope that speed was without boost... cuz i just did 92 on the gun with 96 trail picks in 750 ft 03 with filters and 9835 miles on the old girl, and a guy with a new apex was 100 mph 3 times he had chisels and was hookin :rocks:
 
I had a blown head gasket, Only had the sled for 350 miles before it blew and didnt realize how slow it was after I turbo'd it.

Now I have a head shim and now it is much much faster.

Didnt make the race, but if we get snow I will get out the gps and try again.
 
Boosted you might just be overpowering the ice,Ive tried several differnt things for speed, loosen secondary to lug the motor a little to help with spinning, Quad piped V-max 4 I had secondary as loose as it would go the keep from spinning, once my stepson and I rode double for added traction and actually picked up about 5mph in 1000 ft
