I put 20,000 km on a 136" proaction in my 1999 Venture and it is not even close to the supension in the Vector. I bought a 05 Vector over the Rage last year just to get the new skid and I will be extending the Vector this year.
The iceing in the back of the tunnel where the cooler mounts is easy to get rid of with a broomstick.
The ice above the track and exhaust is where I had a problem. I spent a month at camp last year and the sled never got a chance to defrost between rides as I rode most every day and had no garage to warm the sled in. I finally had to tent the rear suspension with a tarp and use a catalytic propane heater to melt the ice.
