Rear frame support broken (warranty?)

Anyone have the rear frame support (part #8FA-W2199-10-00) break on an Apex? Its the thick aluminum part right under the exhaust in the rear of the sled. It cracked right down the middle. I was wondering if it would be covered by YES.

Dont bother, studs hit that all the time and break it.

no need to fix it? Studs have destroyed mine to.

That's where the cross tube for the heat exchangers also rivets to. It was thought that the rivets were breaking, but on my sled they had pulled right through the aluminum plate causing an enlarged hole. Also one tunnel protector had pulled two rivets through the tunnel...and I am not running studs.

It should be.

I cut it out on my RX1 to make room for the tunnel dump. When the Attak gets modded next summer it will get the same treatment
