Rear Limiter Strap ???? RTX SE

I've got a 2010 Nytro RTX SE. Would like to hear from some people with the same sled or someone who has experience with this.
Can someone explain what the rear limiter strap is for?
What effect will it have if it is in the longest position, shortest position?
Mine can from the factory extened all the way. I'm looking to get this thing to turn. I can't even do a U-turn in the road like the rest of my buddies can on there sleds.
I've tighten the front by 2 holes but didn't help much.

When you say the rear limiter strap you mean the one that is at the front of the skid right?

Mine is an 08 RTX but its gotta be similar. My front strap is pulled in 2 holes. Rear strap is full out and my center shock is loosened way out. I can only see 4 threads.

I run my floats at @60-70psi. No problems turning. On pavement it doesnt like to turn no matter what. Only when my carbides were brand new.

no i think he's talking about the one on the rear of the skid. There are two on that style skid like my mtx

Oh ok, lol i dident the the nytros rtx's had 2.

Pull the rear in one or two notches. A few of us have done that and it has help in the weight transfer reducing the steering effort. I would also drop your air in the front down to 60-70 PSI that will also help in steering effort. It takes some time to get the SE dialed in, actually it takes alot of time, but once you get there it is awesome. I would also recommend talking to the guys at Curve Industies. If you have a steering effort problem I can almost guarantee they have a solution.

I have the same sled and am 185lbs aggressive rider.

My setup is as follows

front floats 55lbs
mid strap in 1 notch
rear strap out all the way
pilot 5.7 ski's

I fought my machine all last season trying to convince myself that this is the payoff for all that pull but now I feel this is the nicest sled I have owned!!!
