Removed the transfer rod on my Apex -06 stretched to 136" and my rear skid went nuts. The suspension is gone. If i lift it the sag is about 4" and when seated it wont move. Like it has bottomed out.

If i let it rest on my wheel stands the suspension seems to work, but not when the track is directly on the garage floor.

Does anyone have a clue of whats going on?

Thanks.

Put the transfer rod back in. Without that piece, your rear suspension arm will fold forward and jam between your rails and cause what you are now experiencing.

But why does it work without the transfer rod for some and for me it does´nt?
Can it actually jam from it´s own weight? I need to have a look at this rear arm.

The two photo's show what Essarex is speaking of. look closely at the position of the rear arms on the two sleds. The black one is suspended by the arm folded forward. That photo was taken with the shock removed and transfer rod disconnected.

LMAO.....With a marble fireplace too!

Haha!

Thats the back of my warehouse. There used to be a granite and marble company in there. The housing crash took them out and when they left a lot of cool stuff stayed. It does make for a nice place to work on them though.

I used granite slabs as desk tops in the office.

Well after some more testing it appears that the shock is busted after all. I installed the control rod again but the problem was the same. The rear suspension feels way to soft and when standing on the sled there´s like it´s bottomed out.

I´ll send the shock for repair.

Thanks.

If you look in the second pic you can see where the rear scissor arm is flipped the wrong way causing it to bind. The first pic is the way it should flex, toward the back.

Is the sled sitting completely flat on the floor? You don't have Dolly's under the skis or track or anything like that? Where is your limiter strap set? Is it pulled real tight?
