trying to get a feel for the yamaha suspension setup on my apex?
where to set limiter straps and transfer rods for climbing? im running 10 lbs of boost and having a hard time keeping the front end down to a managable height. any suggestions to start and where to adjust to tame this down a little? im probably 270 with gear on. limiter straps are fully extended and the transfer rods on the bottom mark. any advise??

Try tightening the limiter straps a couple of holes to increase ski pressure.

There is a couple more things that sledders have been doing with the apex skid in B.C. 1st thing is the rear shock off the venture, sorry only avaiable to Canadians. I guess Yanks don't have the model of sled. Shock costs $185cdn from Yamaha. The where the rear springs meet the front of the rail behind the little idler wheel. There is 3 holes drilled, a stopper is needed to stop the spring from going down further. Then the last idler wheel on the rail, the rear sciccor is getting moved down 3/4". Then putting more washers to fill in the gap at the sliding thing, not sure what the name of it is. We are doing this to buddies TRX1 that has 05 apex skid in it. Alpine Motorsports call this a poor mans M-10. Also read that Linclion has does this same mod. I have noticed that the apex skid likes to wheeling more than the 03/04 skids, wonder if it has something to do with tips up rails.
