'07 Phazer GT
'16 Phazer RTX
Hi all,
Have a Phazer RTX which I purchased used and was previously studded.
The sled has OEM Yamaha dual runner skis with 1-6" (inside) and 1-4" wear bars.
I've since removed the studs and it seems like a lot of carbide for a smallish sled.
I typically run Bergstom triple points but doesn't seem that I'd need or want that much carbide.
Sled is exclusively ridden on groomed trails.
So, I'm interested in knowing what others are running for a "stock" Phazer RTX?
Thanks.
Hank

2015 Venture MP
Well I had an RTX and it was used exclusively on groomed trails as well and I had great success with the Yamaha brand square bar with 6" carbide on the inside, and a no carbide wear bar on the outside. I also have a Venture MP (basically a heavier Phazer) and I use the same basic setup on it. The only real difference is that I also run a bead of weld on the no carbide runner for the MP to help with the wear.
