I think it's time to replace my skid bushings this summer. Doing the beef up kit also. No cracks, but just preventive maintenance I guess.

Anyone know a place where I can obtain the whole kit of Mono skid bushings, etc.? Someone like Pioneer sell a whole kit?

Or does anybody know the updated part #'s for all the bushings a guy should replace of the top of his haed?

Thx all!

pioneer does sell the whole kit. supposedly they are better than oem. I don't know. I can tell you that individually, they are a bit pricey....I'd try the pioneer kit next time.

pioneer bushings

i have got a mono kit comming from pioneer just not arrived yet ,it supposed to be a full kit and much cheaper then oem i will post results when it shows up.

Thx all!!!! Ijust got off the phone with Bruce at Pioneer and ordered up a set of his Nylatron Mono skid bushings.

Time for a full skid rebuild this summer for my Attak's Mono 136, including full Beef Up from Half Baked for arms and rails, and also fancy new Yamaha tuning Fork billet wheels all around. I really wanted the Excell wheels due to being larger, but I just love those tuning fork billet ones -- they were just way to cool to pass up on. my skid is my big summer upgrade this year.

I have seen and am planning on the beef up this off season also. What is the rails beef up?

Sorry my bad. What I meant was I'm going to also send my rails to half baked to be powder coated black when he does the beef up and powder coat to my Mono suspension arms. No rail beef up option. Sorry for miscommunication!

I did the beef up last year with pioneers bushings. All looks good this year. The pro-action used to wear them out much quicker. Make sure to check your rails closely for small cracks.

No Bad, just wondering if I was missing something. Will this powder coat have an effect on tightening every thing up as well as hyfax fit? I would think it would crack the finish where the bolts are??
I actually have a wear spot where the rear axle looks to have spun out. Will most likely have this area welded.

Ok I think I have issues. Ok I know I have issues but I can't same to fine them. Can someone put up a link. Thanks

a link for what???

Just Google Pioneer Performance. Talk to Bruce. Heckuva guy. He's the first site that come up in a Google search. Or call Bruce at 716-496-8800. I ordered his Mono skid Nylatron bushings, just waiting for them to arrive!

He sells front A Arm Nylatron bushings also. Are Ulmers metal/Oilite ones better than Nyltatron bushings in the front? Or are they both good? Just wondering if anyone has tried both or has experience with both varieties....

Thx!

I used pioneers in my RX-1 and seemed to work fine, they have been in there for years now, The stock ones wore out in two years. Also the front end kit doesn't inclued the spindle bushings, needed to go to dealer for that, which they are a yammy dealer. When doing these bushings remember to do the streering colum, 6 bushing halfs at 3 bucks per pair. Mine lasted for 10 thousand miles, so I see no reason to use the really expensive ones from oft. but thats just me, just doesn't seem reasonable to me for such a huge diff in price and how long they have lasted.
