OK I just finished replacing the W arm on my 2006 Apex GT . I replaced it with an updated 2008 arm. My sled has about 7000 miles and the arm had a couple of very minor cracks. All in all the removal and replacement took about 3 hours. I also repalced the 2 rear upper idlers, slides and repacked the rear idlers. I am using SRX rear wheels with the replacable bearings and have 4 installed.
My question: My rear arm looks OK but I notice the 2008 rear arm has a different part number. Is it also reinforced compared to the 2006 arm? Is it worth updating?
