I need to replace one of the front/inner idler wheels where the front suspension is bolted to. I checked the Yamaha microfiche and they are $70 each...is there a better replacement? Can larger ones be used here? I would like to find an aftermarket replacement that is easy to get in Canada.

TIA
NB

You can go with 135mm but if you do you should replace all idlers with 135mm so the rails have the same stress all the way around. Don't just replace the one broken stock idler with a 135mm.
You can get the stock size idlers from Kimpex...They work but they're a bit cheap...

Invest a little extra money and buy ulmers kit with replaceable bearings. Save you time money and hassle down the road.

Thanks guys, I would get the Excell kit but I don't want to wait 2 weeks since crossing the border takes delivery time. I was hoping to find a good replacement here in Canada. Anyone have p/n for replacements?

I talked to my dealer and he has a cheaper replacement. I'll look at larger wheels for next season. Thanks again and Excell wheels look good.

schmidt brothers has a nice hyfax saver kits too just something else to look in to , i'm going to put them on this summer .I'm syre you will find something to finish the year out just sucks everything is in the states and takes so long to get to you

;)! Good call...

Goto Yamaha Canada's website and in the parts and accessories section is a $25 or $30 replacement wheel there. It has a replaceable bearing.

If you're suffering from excessive slider wear, I'd recommend getting a set of Excel motorports wheels, as they are a bit larger.

If your really stuck Royal Distributing has stock replacement wheels (135 mm) for Poo's and Doo's for $28.00 each. They have a 6205 bearing and are 3 mm wider than a 6005 bearing but I hear they'll work too. Good Luck!!

Don't install the Royal ones between the rails. They wil not be centered between the drive lugs and rub, killing them in no time.

You're absolutely right I forgot to mention that they're only good for outters. Thanks
