Ring Free Question

after putting seafoam in cyl. and letting sit over night I have to chang oil. so you cant run with seafoam in the oil.

Yes you can but i like to do like a good flush job at frist.

I just changed my oil, before I put it away, with Klotz synthetic. I'd like to try this sea foam / ring free, but would like to run it more than the 250 mi I have on so far. How long can I run with sea foam, etc. before I change it. I have bad mileage and it burns oil. Need help? thanks

Thanks man, appreciate it, I plan on riding 5 or 600 mi before a week long trip at the end of January. Would it be a good idea to change it before then or wait to the 15, 1600 mi mark after the trip? What do you think?

Sea foam certainly cleans out the motor. Also try this. I just got a tank of 100 LL AV gas put through the 03 shorty. Ya know how the exhaust tips are always black and sooty and seeping crud. Well, after 50 miles, exhaust tips are greyish brown, no seep, no water running out when you first strart it up, no oil usage in 150 miles, no puff of smoke at startup, and after initial fire when cold I can close the choke completely, go inside get dressed and not have to baby sit the choke for 15 min. because it wants to stall out. It just idles at 1350 smooth as a baby's butt! I think I'm going to alternate between AV gas and regular this winter. I think I'll run reg until I notice any soot build up, then shock it again with the AV gas. If the tail pipes are clean as a whistle, then you know the inside is too. Its only $2.79 at the pump, so its not that expensive, AND I'm getting 20 mpg on it. No joke. Used to get 15 / 16. Try it, you'll like it.

If it was me i would dump the mud after 500-600 miles.
Then start fresh on your trip!

If you are going to ride her put it in the oil and gas.
Dont put in any the cly. Use 3/4 of a can in the oil and 1/4 in the tank!
