X2, not sure you would like it for trail riding. I'm 5'11" and at 2.5in. my arms are slightly bent while standing.

Get a adjustable riser if you're not sure wich height you like..
With quick adjusters you can also adjust the height on the trail..
I got one on mine. Works great and looks awesome

You would need to extend EVERYTHING, brake line, ebrake, throttle, and wire harnesses. I am 6'6 with 4-5.5 adjustable riser and a non-rising RSI bar and its too much if your sitting down with the bars in the high position.

Roxs makes a very nice adjustable riser ,I also think 7 is to high but if u are 7 foot tall then a 7 would work just fine ha.ha.ha
I am 6'4, so 4-5.5" should be enough?

X2 - 4" riser on my RTX. I'm 6' and wouldn't want it higher. Also I think any higher than 4" and you'll need cable extensions. As it was I had to re-route some of my cables for clearance.

I don't run the stock bars, my RSI bars have 0 rise in them. The stock bars account for about a 2" rise in the backcountry style bend, make sure you account for that when choosing a riser, I would say 3-4" would be plenty.

What is the tallest riser that can be put on without needing extension cables?

Before I did the RSI bars I had the Rox riser 4-5.5" on and in the lowest position it was about all the further I could go, so I would say 4". But I did have a steering post relocate on it to so maybe you could squeeze 5" out of it.

I'm pretty sure 4" is max if you want to b e certain you have enough cable clearances at all angles etc.
