I fouled a plug from starting the thing to get it on and off the trailer. Haven't been able to ride to clear things out. I cleaned the plugs but still had poor idle and popped through exhaust so I put in a fresh set of CR10EK's. Idles better but doesn't seem to be 100%. Revs good on stand. Still has last year's gas in it with Stabil. How do I know if I have a plugged idle passage in one or more carbs? Gotta take the carbs off and pull them down? Thanks!

Mike

Sounds like a pilot jet is plugged.

I would take them apart and clean them. While your in there you can clean your main's and needles also. You should be able to blow through the jets when you take them out but sometimes they still have gunk in them. Best to clean them anyways.

just a stupid off topic question, but how does that apex mtn seat fit? anyproblems with the muffler can? thanks

The seat fits great after trimming the tank shroud like a Nytro. Feel free to send me a PM if you have any questions about the swap, or do a search as quite a few others have done the swap.

It was a plugged idle circuit in one of the carbs. It was amazing how much air pressure it took to open the passage. Cleaned everything out and it should be good to go...

Sorry for the multiple posts. Idles good and runs good now. Cleaning the carbs took care of the poor idle. I guess I'll be taking more care when getting it ready for storage this spring...

I have the same problem! My sled idles really rough but once its going it runs good!
