RPMs' and top speed

So where is this motor supposed to be pulling at for RPM on these things? My sled is completely stock (track cut to 1 3/4") and whenever I hit it hard it revs from 9,150 to 9,350 and when I get flat out on a straight it levels out at around 9,250 and 97 MPH on my GPS, 101 on the speedometer. The sled runs extremely strong but seems like I need to add some weight to the primary clutch, I don't like modifying things, but if I can add some rivets and pick up some free acceleration I'll go for it. Is there a limiter? What RPM does it hit at? Anyone??????????

I was told peak HP is 8,600-8,700.

Why don't you try running a little more helix and a cat sec. spring to make use of all that torque????02
