I want to add 4" to my RS venture seat - has anyone taken the cover off of one and added height with more foam?
Also, what type of stapler is used to attach the vinyl to the plastic seat frame?

FWIW Alot of guys have put DB II (apex) seats on
there DB I sleds.
YOU WILL NEED TO CUT THE PLASTIC TANK COVER TO FIT THE NEW SEAT.

Thanks BDM. Lots of good, detailed info there. Does anyone know the staple length off hand - is it 1/4" or shorter?

I don't know the staple length but choose very carefully. The factory staples on mine poked through and caused a bunch of holes in the cover. I already pulled the cover but tossed all of the staples without measuring them - duh.
