Hi Glock30
I had problem with the passenger handgrip warmer. The wife don't really use them very often because they warmed not enought but at some time they just don't warm at all, completely cold.
Because they were working when the sled was at dealer, we don't know what is the cause of this trouble but it make sense for the handgrip warmer relay...
Is yours were intermittent or just hard failed ???
Bye
Alain

It hard failed. No continuity between poles as needed.
Under warranty so a new one is on the way.
Please be aware that the passenger handgrips need 3000 or higher RPM to activate as the coil cannot produce enough juice to power them below that.

They also shut off when the brake light is on so a stuck brake switch could make you think you have a problem with passenger gripwarmers.

Install the Yamaha gauntlets over the hand grips & your passenger's hands will be roasty toasty.

We have a 2005 Venture RS that has the same problem, no heat for the passenger warmers. I found that their is no power to the passenger switch that controls them checked all the fuses and found that they were all good. I swaped relays and still no change, I then ran a hot wire from the battery to the feed wire located under the right side of the seat and they worked, nice and warm like they should.
I am still trying to figure out why they don't work with the relay I think that there is a wire or jumper missing from the relay to the warmers. I put it back the way it was for fear of overloading something. When I find out more I will post it.
