I've found that my 03 RX-1 is very tippy. I have rolled it a few times and was wondering how to fix this. Someone said it was as easy as adjusting the camber or toe out on the ski's. Is this true? How do I do this? Thanks for the advice!!

Straight rate springs, longer links (04's had both upgrades). Stiffer sway bar was another add on. All of the above will help, but it's pretty hard to eliminate completely. I put on a wide kit this summer looking forward to seeing how much more that helps ;)!

forgot the 12mm bars

I have 2 RX1 sleds a silver 03 and a red 05. Both have monoshocks (bender on the 03) and both have had mods to improve handling. I can rid through twisties with rev's all day long. They are not tippy, ride and handle great. Mods as follows:

Pioneer Wide kit
strait rate springs
long links
12mm bars
doo Pilots (give ya more effective width)
Apex seat on one, 4" stuffed other
articulating 2" riser with bars pushed forward
studded ripsaws on each
narrow hyfax on one wide on other (trying to figure out which one wears better)
all track windows open.

They are tippy, but seems to be more a problem at 5 mph than 100. its the geometry of the front roll center vs. center of gravity. Wide front end kits are the best way along with adding a stiffer sway bar to flatten the front. Ski lift will always be present to a certain extent but can be learned and once mastered actually put more bit on the outside carbides cutting doen the push some sled have when cornering due to poor ski pressure or cornering to flat.

Try to hang off more and keep constant throttle through the apex of the turn,do not allow the sled to have no forward momentum at the apex of the turn in other wards when coming into the turn make sure you have enough forward momentum through the turn so that it stays flatter,if you slow down too much the momentum changes to the outside of the turn forcing the inside ski lift.

pioneer wide ft end with bergsrtom skegs REALLY helped out the handling of my 05 rx. That and learning to DRIVE through the corners not brake like two strokes. Let that compression braking work for you before the corner and then throttle through
