thanks....

mine is a 03 with reverse std track (121)

cool thank you that gives me a 1.58 ratio i think im gonna step it down a bunch get me closer to a 2.0 ratio what is the biggest bottom gear that chaincase will hold....

i have a 1.25 ripsaw on ine with 144 studboys down the center im looking for some good holeshot and corner to corner of of this sled, i have it clutched with a hartman kit (polaris primary and team secondary) runs a consistent 10000-10200 always with stock gearing dont wanna go 120 mph just want to maximize on the torque this machine has...

you could try the stock 04-05 rxwarior gearing. it is 1 tooth less and lots of others have used it to do what you are describing. would bring you down to a 1.65 ratio.

Going down a tooth on the top helped my dad's stretched RX shorties gain more traction than my clutch work. I'd start there...

The biggest bottom gear you can get in there is a 42 tooth. If you have reverse, this will require minor modification to the reverse gear (turn down teeth slightly). Without modification, you can get a 40, maybe 41 (I don't know if there is such a thing as a 41 bottom reverse).

thanks i think im gonna go with 21/40 for the gearing i think with my style of riding this will be good for me...... should give this sled some snap down low with the clutching i run shuold be a totally different sled....

thanks guys,
jammie

I used my stock 70 link chain and I am running 24 top and 40 bottom so I would say yes. You can use the link on my sig to take you to a gear to speed calculator.
