Thought I would put up a couple Firecat races with the old RX1.

My sled is a 05 with Tedd Jannetty air box, jetting, and clutching. The first sled is a 03 F7 said to be stock w/fuel reducer. My friends son owned it and it was a fast little sled. The guy only weighed 120lbs that owned it. I would get him from time to time but he won his share of races, It was always close.

Second sled is a 03 F7 Snow Pro. It has Jason Prices porting, pipe mod, Boondocker, and clutching. This sled was not dialed in last year and was not very impressive. I had no problem beating him. We dropped the sled off to Jason at the end of the year and he tweaked the Boondocker. Let me tell you, it will rip your arms off now. Very hard running sled and more than the old RX1 can handle but still respectable.

Nice vids, I'm impressed that you did so well...F7s are quick sleds, even better in the hands of the right tuner...I've read the Jason Price F7s are a handful, 160hp in a light package with great drag racing ergos...you looked to be pulling on it pretty hard near the end of the race....I'd bet you may have taken him in a bit longer of a race

I raced a 10 Crossfire 800 (163hp) in the U.P. Last year. He got me a couple sleds out of the hole but I drove by him by 50mph or so and kept on driving away. I am sure the Snopro in this video would eat that same sled. I was very impressed on how hard this thing pulls. Jason said it was set way too rich. He has it running good now.

I also race a 09 Nytro that was stock that same day. I was not impressed. I pulled him from the get go. I am sure it was stock and he didn't look like he got into the racing thing. Maybe he wasn't on the gas? I heard how hard they come out of the hole, not this one.

I thought I would give you all a update on the Jason Price F7. We both went up to Seney and raced a couple times. One road had deep snow that was not hard packed. From a stop he would pull me 3-4 sleds out of the hole and then we would even out.
Second race was on a hard pack road with ice under it. We did a roll on and we were side by side at 110mph. We were not topped out just let off after passing the guys in our group setting on the side.I have two teeth ground off of my speedo gear. I was pretty pleased with that race. Every body has said that the Ripsaw is not a great deep snow track. I always thought it pulled hard in the snow but the first race proved other wise.

We also had a SX 700 with a Bender BB. He could launch from a dead stop on the road with the ice and leave both the F7 and my RX1. We both tried to feather it off the line but he was gone. On a role both the F7 and my RX1 could pull on him but it was pretty close.
