rx-1 warning light stays on

warning light stays on. no blinking just on all the time. any ideas what the problem might be? aftermarket led light kit installed and connected directly to battery. otherwise stock. previous owner said it may be the spark plug boot shorting on engine case. he recomended smearing with dielectric grease.

Isn't there a symbol that shows on the LCD screen as well? Anytime this light is on, there is a symbol that will show to tell ya the problem???

That's a starting place anyway.

You on E on your fuel I know thats makes it stay on.

Another time the warning light stays on is when you are low on oil, but the oil level indicator light should also be on. Is it? Maybe the light burned out. I would check the oil level and make sure the sled is good and level.
