RX1 Mountain Fuel Adjusment ?

I'm working on a 03 RX1 and am trying to figure out why it runs like Sh!t. I'm cleaning the carbs and the original owner says he just went through them but I'm having trouble believing it. The Fuel bowl screws were almost impossible to get off as they were half stripped out on the Phillips heads. Two pilots were almost closed and the fuel screws were at 3/4 turn out. I'm thinking that the screws should be at 1- 1/2 - 2 turns out. Does anyone know the specs on these carbs ?

I don't remember the specs, but get Allen head bolts for tjw bowls to put it back together with. If memory serves they are 4mm.
