RX1 Vs RX1 Turbo

Yes it still is clutched for 15lbs. He wanted to get it to 12lbs first then reclutch. Can't wait to see it run when clutched right at 12lbs.
Can't imagine what sleds run like at 20lbs of boost and how the drivetrain hold together. I have to admit, riding with a boosted sled it is going to be hard to be satisfied with my NA sled. Doing ok so far.

Turk, not sure what you ment by that. We know the the clutching is off and always have. He just didn't want to mess with it until he had the boost set at the top level. You know there is no sense in clutching a sled that is not jetted yet or maybe the twins are not on it yet.
Maybe I didn't make my self clear. I was just wondering if you guys with experience thought that the lag was all related to clutching and pistons.

Turk, I am sure when you boosted your first sled you had a few things to lean. Just surprised with you comment.

The bog is related to the clutching. Yes, pistons will make a slight difference, but really not enough to worry about, and certainly not enough to account for the results of your vids.

I know Turk didn't mean any offense with his comments, but I'll let him speak for himself...

You can really hurt the engine by underrevving on borderline octane fuel. There is a way better chance of detonation by lugging it down like that. Jim...that gas is fresh shell vp power premium but not sure what was in that tank previousely.

Thanks Turk, I will let him know.
